Plant to purchase

We work to bring you the most requested strains in the industry based on market trends, consumer demand and preference, and of course, bring in products we love and trust.

That being said, the way the supply chain is structured in the Canadian market leaves us somewhat at the mercy of licensed growers and gives us little control over the quality of the product that arrives in our stores.

Here’s a little breakdown of how the plant gets from grower, through the government, to us and finally rolled up nicely and to you!

Growing, packaging and transport

Producers each have their own unique process for taking the plant from seed to flower to packaging. Each grower processes and packs their own product, which is then transported to the regulating body for each province. In Alberta, ours is the AGLC.

GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION

All cannabis retailers order through the governing provincial body, not from the grower themselves. We try our best each week to secure the best products, but some products are available in smaller quantities and there is no guarantee of adequate supply for every product.

TO RETAILERS

We then receive the product and happily stock our vault for our customers. At this point, we cannot check product quality, as the excise stamp on ALL cannabis products must remain in tact for the customer. The product is pre-packaged in the allotted quantities, so we have no direct contact with any of the products inside the government packaging.

TO THE CONSUMER

Consumers are not permitted to open product in a cannabis store, as mandated by the government.  Once the product is open, if there are any product issues, we are happy to deal with them on a case by case basis. We do encourage you to pass the information directly onto the grower, as they can leverage this information best in regards to improving overall product quality.
